Our family gets a little geeky about Costume Parties. That is my Hubby’s real hair!!! Why not go all out, play dress up any time , show your Geeklings you are still a kid at heart.
We got Ella’s Dress and my Husband’s shirt from our local Goodwill. I just happen to have a big box of wigs many of which were bought on sale after Halloween at Party City. Though It didn’t stay on her long, Ella was the hit of the party!
Have fun, be geeky, make memories.
My Office hours:
– nap time : about 1 hour between 1-3 , usually sitting in my car, like now.
– After bedtime 8pm – 11pm shared with laundry time, pet time, Husband time, TV time, me time??
The ‘Boss ‘, isn’t too happy with me getting online, talking to Co- workers, bathroom breaks, eating without sharing and hates personal calls.
There is frequent over time with no warning and flare ups that are unprovoked and time consuming. Tough work place!!! 😉
please vote for our Blog entry! We had so much fun making it!!
We had a fun time at * Circus Vargas* in Woodland Hills! It was a 4:30 show time perfect for after nap, before dinner/ bed time. It was one of our awesome Geeklings and Parental Units who suggested it on our Meetup groups Calendar.
The price was right through Gold star.com and she sat still * with one intermission for all of it! We had bleacher seats but really, all the seating was close to the stage in the round.
The big top is always a fun site to see, there was face painting, the usual event foods. Top of the show was a chance for the kids to join in with the circus if you arrive 30 minutes early. Lots of hands on fun and an up close view right on the stage.
No animal acts * which Ella was a little disappointed about * but plenty of magic and wire acts as well as Clowns and Trapeze Artists. I asked her what her favorite act was and she answered in her language, The flying Man who was shot from a Canon type device!
We got to meet the performers as we were walking out of the show. It was a great first experience for our 2 year old!

Dear Curious George. Thank you for allowing me a few precious moments to clean my bathroom today. Sure I did it in my underwear, while brushing my teeth and used Flushable Toddler Wipes to clean the toilet but, dang it, it got done. I realize television is not meant to be a babysitter but if you won’t tell, I won’t tell.
Thanks for staying curious after these years, your unfettered wide eyed optimism is refreshing in such a jaded entertainment medium. Please pass along good wishes to The Man in the yellow Hat as well.
We will see you tomorrow when I try to clean cat puke stains from various rug areas.
